The College is committed to providing quality education and training and it is my privilege to be a part of this institution.  To deliver on this commitment in a sustainable way, we have set out a clear strategy that will serve the College.  The completion of a strategic plan is always an exciting process as we engaged in a number of activities that will continue our pursuit of student excellence.  The mission, vision and value statement of the College provides a strong foundation that guides our strategic plan.   Our students are at the centre of everything we do.

The College established more partnerships during the past year. Almost all needy and deserving students received NSFAS bursaries.  There are those who received bursaries for tuition and transport allowances where possible. The College, through the Seta’s, offers internships to students who completed their studies.

While we pride ourselves on our successes, there have also been challenges we faced from time to time.  The student certification rate is a serious challenge to the College’s pursuit of excellence as an institution.  We need to find long-term solutions to these challenges working together with DHET and other stakeholder in the Northern Cape.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the College Council members for their commitment and support provided to the College and myself.  By serving on the College Council, you are contributing significantly to the betterment of our College and society. May I congratulate the College on receiving an unqualified audit from the Auditor General.

To management and staff, I would like to say that I take pride in your accomplishments and I am honoured to be part of your future success.
